To do this Michael Young brings a wealth of operational and executive leadership experience across Oceania, the Middle East and Asia. He has gained AOC approvals to operate jet air transport services for 3 airlines each in different Regulatory jurisdictions. His C suite and senior operational roles in complex, high consequence environments reinforces his view that safety , performance and accountability are non negotiable.
In his post holder roles as accountable manager across flight, ground, safety and engineering, he has built strong interfaces with civil aviation authorities and regulators across multiple jurisdictions. His work spans New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the wider Oceania and Middle East regions.
Michael's distinctive strength lies in rapid diagnosis. He identifies structural friction, clarifies decision pathways, and implements practical correction without unnecessary disruption.
